Today at The AI Conference in San Francisco we announced the Intel AI DevCloud, a cloud hosted hardware and software platform available to developers, researchers and startups to learn, sandbox and get started on their Artificial Intelligence projects. Intel® Academy members can gain free access to the DevCloud powered by Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors for their machine learning and deep learning compute needs. The DevCloud will be live in October and you can pre-register today here.
We also announced we’re setting up an AI Center of Excellence with Tata Consultancy Services. This new AI CoE will be equipped with the latest technologies and experts to assist Intel® AI Academy members, including developers, data scientists, students, professors, and startups, in developing AI solutions.
Last November we launched the AI Academy and the response has been strong. We’re already approaching 50,000 academy members, delivering workshops at 100s of universities and have trained 25,000 students and developers this year. The new DevCloud and CoE will enable us to expand the Academy impact globally bringing AI technology and expertise to developers around the globe.
